This time of year we all like to support charities. Advent for Others is Advent Calendar that supports, not one, but 24 local charities, one for each day in December in the run up to Christmas. Behind each day, instead of chocolate, is a little information about the charity featured on that day. If you would like to purchase a calendar to support us, they cost £24.95, you can buy one at St. Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury or online at http:/adventforothers.squarespace.com This page will show all the charities that will benefit from an equal share of the proceeds.
Xmas Get Together 2017
It is that time of year again when we gather together for our Xmas Get Together. Why not join us at the Castlefields Community Centre on the 7th December between 10.30 and 12.30. We will be joined by the Mayor Jane Mackenzie, the children of Martin Wilson School who will be singing Xmas Carols for us and Father Xmas will dropping in for a visit. We will have our Xmas Raffle with lots of prizes, with a Star Prize of £100 which will be drawn on the day. Why not come and see us, have a mince pie, cup of tea or glass of sherry and join in, we look forward to seeing you there.
